"Okay class, today we'll be making clear glass red. It won't be difficult, it will be a small piece. If you all have studied, I'm sure you can complete this task." She said and waved her wand. Multiple small crystal clear glass balls appeared on each table in a neat pile.

Chloe looked worried. She hadn't studied. She took her wand out, muttered the spell, and tapped the glass. Nothing happened.

Helga pointed her wand to the ball of glass and said a spell loud enough for Chloe to hear, but quiet enough for no one else to hear. The glass ball slowly turned pink, then to a deep shade of red. She grinned at Chloe.

"I studied." Helga said and grinned, laughing slightly. "It takes practice. I turned a few clear marbles I had into multiple different colors until I could turn it red."

Helga smiled, "Yeah, you're improving." She said. The teacher started looking at all the desks, checking the progress of everyone. She looked at Chloe's ball and Helga's ball gladly, "Great job. You two did the best job of the entire class." She said. She then went to the front of the class and told everyone about how they should study or they shouldn't expect good results.

Chloe was very surprised. "Woo, best in class!" She exclaimed to Helga. "Whats the next class?" Chloe asked her quietly.

"Potions class." Helga said, her voice now drained of excitement. She couldn't stand the teacher, and it was in the basement which was cold and dark.

Helga nodded, "Yeah, we should." She said. "We should hurry to potions class. If we take too long we'll be late." Helga said and started walking.
