"It's a curse to me." She said, not caring what they thought. "You guys call it what you want, but to me, my 'gift' is actually just a horrible curse." She said, using air quotes as se said gifts.

Dylan frowned "Alright" He smiled again as he thought of another way to explain "I can see anyone do any kind of fighting move and can just be able to do the exact same move, as long as it doesn't involve their powers. Get it?"

" oh ." Lucy said deep in thought. her face lit up and she smiled." i get it now. that's really cool, actually. " Lucy looked at him and smiled before turning to the door hearing the others talk. " i wonder if its hard to contemplate to them. it was for me. " Lucy said still staring at the door.

angel looked at amber and smiled. she looked back at ther and said "well lead the way to the professor please." she said giving a smile and crossing her arms behind her back.

"yeah, i bet." she said starring off into space. "how did you get cast out or runaway?" she said wanting to know if she was the only one who had killed someone.

"Cast out" Dylan said and sighed softly, remembering "I just turned 13 and we had gone to the zoo for my party. I had always been fascinated with the animals there." He shook his head, as though to deny what had happened next "It was the first time I shifted, and I couldn't control anything. My first shift was into a lion, in a zoo full of people." He looked down at his feet "Even now, I only get flashes of memory from that day. I woke up in my own bed the next morning and my parents kicked me out, told me never to come back." He looked up again "The papers and news reports said a wild lion had somehow escaped and killed 10, injuring 50 others who survived"

"im sorry. was about 13 and i figured out i could walk through walls. i thought it was cool, but i didn't tell my parents only my little sister molly. we were playing one day and she asked if i could her her through. i thought it was a good idea at the time so i did. i walked out on the other side and she wasn't in my arms." Lucy's voice cracked "i went back to get her but by the time i got her out, she had suffocated to death." lucy looked back at dylan.

" Lucy smiled and gave a giggle. she sighed refreshing herself. " anyway, do you think you could tutor me in English. just until i get back on my feet. " Lucy said changing the subject.
