School of the Mutants ~ RP ~ players needed

Ther grinned, "Thanks. Sorry about this. Next time I'll try something more to the extent of bringing over cookies."
Luna smiled. "It's fine. It's nice to finally talk to someone besides professor X." She winced, mentally slapping herself for saying that. why do you have to act so stupid around other people?! This is why you can't ever make any friends. she thought to herself.

Ther laughed, "Yeah, I know. It's like having a conversation with a slightly more modern, telepathic Shakespeare. And then there's the training. I spent - make that spend - half of my time here getting the classic, 'Control it before it controls you' speech." Oh, gosh, did I actually just admit that?

"You got that speech too? Wow, I thought I was the only one." She said. "When I came here, I had zero clue how to control my powers, you know, besides flying, but now I'm getting slightly better. But I still can't control freezing things I touch. Which is why I wear these gloves..." She showed her snowy blue gloves that she wears on her hands. "I've had that speech more times than I can count." If she were able to, her cheeks would have flushed, and she looked down at her feet.

(She can't blush because she's so pale and has ice powers. It's kind of like a side affect.)

"I know what you were like. I was there. Luna, I've been here five years. I get the prize for the most speeches. If these walls could talk, they'd have some horrible things to say to me. For me, it's always emotion that activates it."

"well, you were there when professor X approached me. But he gives the 'control it before it controls you' speeches in a one-on-one talk."
