" hey yo, dude relax a bit will ya. if anyone on the force comes in here and recognizes any of us, ill deck him and we'll get out of here to your safe place. okay?"he said as she handed them their food and kept munching on hers.

Ryan half smiled and said, "you wouldn't have to. Look." He put up a small illusion over his face to change his features. He looked like he had blood hair and a longer nose. "See? Emergency illusion. Spent years trying to perfect it...but I can't hold it for long. The illusion started to waver a bit and he dropped it. Looking around to make sure no one was looking g.

Amber accepted the food "No, I just got mine, and cannot control it, yet." She said quickly and took a bite

" i got mine about 2 to 2 and a half years ago. i have to ability's. the first one is that any plant i touch or even come near, dies. that's what the gloves are for. and the other one a i can make mini rain clouds, got that one a year ago. is it just me or are my ability's like some type of gloomy curse?" angel said in irritation.

Ryan understood her irritation. He shrugged. "Mine are a curse too...I can't always control what my illusions do even though I have been practicing for years. Sometimes they fail me in the worst places and it causes lot's of trouble. I can't usually be around people long before they start looking at me funny or shun me completely." He smiled wryly and took another bit of his food.
"Guess it is a curse, this...whatever we can do. I've tried to stop it to...but it's like an addiction. I can't go very long without using it otherwise I start to feel...I don't know...like I have to otherwise my head might just explode."

Amber frowned at that "So if I don't learn to call this wind by myself, it could destroy another building?" She lowered her head to look at her hands for a moment, then looked back up at the two. "How did you learn to control it?"

Ryan thought about that for a moment. "Well...I just figured out what I was doing...making people see things that weren't there. Then I just kept trying to use that in different ways, pushing my ability. But it's dangerous....I pushed myself so hard that I nearly died a few times..." he looked out the window.

Luna sat down at the table in the kitchen with her spaghetti and garlic bread, happy to finally be off her feet. She felt as if she might pass out. She'd practice ice enough for one day. In fact, she might've used it enough not to worry about freezing things with her hands accidentally. Because of the build in power of ice in her hands, if she didn't practice enough, she could freeze things involuntarily with her hands. But since she had just practiced quite a bit, she could probably eat a nice early dinner without gloves. She carefully slipped them off, placing them on te table next to her bowl. She cautiously grabbed the fork from her bowl, waiting to see if she froze it. Nothing happened. Just to make sure she could still use ice, she froze the fork on purpose. Then she had another idea and focused on the ice. Slowly, the ice seemed to detach itself from the fork and, like some for of magnet, the ice disappeared into her hand again. She let out a loud happy whoop! Then blushed when she realized she'd done that out loud.
