Ther shrugged, "Usually without hurting anyone else. I've burned a couple people by accident in my early days. Now it's mostly the gym."

"Because we just found you." Ther explained almost patiently, "Look, I know this sounds like a hoax, but it's not. It's a real school, by mutants, for mutants. Not Area 51."

Ryan for some strange reason trusted this girl. Even though what she was saying sounded crazier than his day already had been, the way she said it...full of confidence...was reassuring and refreshing.
"Okay...how do we get there? Can we leave if we don't think it's the right place for us?"
