Science Fair Project

Howdy! I am doing a Science Fair project and I need some answers. I am researching how different foods affect my hens' eggs. I am currently feeding my 5 hens 10 tangerines a day along with their regular food, for one week, for the best results. Does anyone have any advice or input? Does anyone know what other foods would change the color or taste of eggs? Thank you!

I know foods rich in beta carotene will contribute to making the yolks a richer orange color than grocery store eggs.

I just did a science fair project where I added 1/2 a cup of roasted, unsalted peanuts to each of my laying hens' diets. I repeated this daily for 1 and 1/2 weeks, and the eggs did get bigger.
