Are scissor beaks caused by poor breeding, or something else that may have happened in the egg? I won't breed from them just in case, but I was just wondering that IF I did, would I be risking passing on this problem to his/her babies?

Crooked Beak --

Is usually a genetic fault, however (But not often) it may be caused by a high spike in the incubator temperature.
If it is a genetic fault the two parents may be too closely related, or they both may be carrying this particular gene and it would be recommended not to breed these two birds together again, if this fault reappears through a different pairing, you may wish to not use the birds in your breeding stock.
