Scooby keeps on confounding me.

So here is the story.
Scooby is now a 7 1/2 month old Dominique.

This has been an on going thing where at first I thought Scooby was a he, then I thought he was a she, and now I am yet again thinking she is a he! UGH!
Here is a photo of the same age Dominique which I know is a hen cause I saw her lay an egg.

Her name is Quattro.
She lives up to her name and is a very fast runner.
I know Doms have rose combs so that is why her comb is flat. But Scooby’s comb and wattles are more prominent that Quatrro’s.
Scooby is very nice and will let you pick em up. Scooby doesn’t run away and will in fact run up to you looking for treats whereas Quattro won’t.
I have two other adult Roos that are the alphas and I know that Dom Roos won’t crow with another dominant Roo around.
So I need some insight on this because I keep getting confused.
P.S I really want a Dom Roo!

I believe you are in luck, I think it's a cockerel (1st picture). It's growing sickle feathers.

Certainly a tricky one. In either case this is a slow maturing bird which complicates things. I vote watch and wait but I hope Scooby does turn out to be a cockerel like you wanted!

Yeah, both are definitely pullets. Cockerels are much lighter in overall color and would have male specific feathering by that age. It's not uncommon for females to have a few wonky tail feathers.
