Hi,
I have a 10 x 10 coop and 5 adult layers (BR & RIR) and have (6) 3 week old EEs. just scored enough chain link panels to double my run size. I understand I gotta keep the big girls separate from the little ones for a while, so I am thinking of at least temporarally somehow splitting the coop in two and giving the younger ones their own door to a separate run... I'm thinkin' maybe vinyl poultry net inside? I don't really want to freak out my layers too much, but they probably wont be too happy. Any Suggestions or advise of ways to get my flock together? they are growing fast and it's getting warmer so i want to get moving on this.
Thanks for any replies! Gary

i use X-Pens and create a "wall", its works good because they can talk to each other, and interact, just not touch each other. Its how I transition mine in. The best part is, they are removable, and reusable. You can also use them to make an playpen for the little ones to be outside for a little while

They can be found at allot of pet stores and feed/ranch supply stores.
here is what they look like, you can un-clip it to make it into a fence
