Some of the Muscovies came up to the garage to see what I was doing this past weekend. Here are some photos.

Cute. Looks REALLy cold there. Mine were on the porch this morning. Of course, I'm in Fla, no snow!

Yeah, the snow kinda bled out the white balance.

I have eaten muscovies before, best eat'n duck there is. I have too many males and plan to do two of the three in since I can't find them homes. They are very personable guys though. I favor the all black ones and will keep one of them (there are two blacks, one white/black).

I have one black hen and two nearly matching females as well. Was thinking of keeping the three girls and one boy.

IMO scovies are so ugly. LOL But they're growing on me. I think I may get some in the spring to raise for meat. I hear they're very very tasty

I used to think they were ugly too, until I met one.

I bought a few to sit on goose eggs, since they are so broody. I love them! They are so much more personable than other ducks.

I want the so bad. Maybe I will try another batch of eggs again this spring
