I'm reading conflicting info on feeding scrambled eggs to chicks (under a week old). Do they need grit if fed scrambled eggs? How old do they need to be to eat it? I planned to try it out and use a food processor so the eggs are in tiny pieces.

If you want to offer eggs to your chicks offer it to them hard boiled and break it up into small pieces.

Tip --

If you have a electric kettle,
Just put a egg or two in there then fill will with water, turn it on and let it run its cycle.
When it shuts off, let the egg/s cool in the electric kettle with the water.
When the water is some what cool just drain and get your eggs out, peel and mash them up for your bird.

This is the easiest way to make hard boiled eggs that are perfect every time and far more faster and easier that cooking eggs on a stove.
