Scratch and seeds

Cooler weather is near....can you do scratch along with feed everyday?

If you have molting birds that are still growing in feathers, avoid giving them scratch.
If everyone is all feathered in, go ahead. Just don't go crazy with it. A little bit before bed as a bit of a calorie boost each night is fine. Remember, scratch is not feed. It should never be a primary source of nutrition.

We have pellets and scraps also.
