Scratch feed VS. BOSS?

Hi, I'm trying to decide if I should use BOSS(black oil sunflower seed) or scratch grains or both along with my main supplement of pellet feed. I have about 30 hens, and I keep them for eggs, for myself, and I sell them. What would be the best(or both) to use? Anything suggestions? Thanks.

I give a mix.Pellets all the time for the layers, and the other two as a treat.

I give 1 part boss 4 parts scratch as a treat. They love scratch but I like to boost the protein a little with the boss.

I give mine both as a snack. They get more scratch than BOSS.

I do both scattered all about, to encourage foraging!
