its working well i think that was it, or she peeped herself out. the others have mostly moved farther out from the light, rightly so, i think they are a few days older. but she's right there under it sacked out!

Um, I'm getting 8 hen chicks and 55 meaties in two weeks. Plus, I have been the designated "overflow" guy for the annual classroom hatch of a teacher friend for the chicks she can't find homes for. I'm on thin ice at home right now (You ordered "HOW" many?)

the chick started right back up again when she woke up too. loud chiping!!!!! wont stop until she peeters out to sleep. she sits down like an osterich. oh well. no sleep for me tonight. I love my chickens.....

Update???? Booger was quiet this morning, sleeping in the food dish..... i love raising the little babes, but man oh man i hate the first night or two.... yawn.......
