This is in the predator section because I want to know if it will hold. 1. I don't see why I need screen on the windows. They'll be closed in the night, and open in the day. No problem? Or some unseen reason? 2. We have these cracks that go up, (about 3-4 inches less or more) and then they go into the roof a bit, and eventually the weasel could get in the coop. Do I need to cover these holes? Are they that determined? Would they keep crawling just to get to the food? There are also little holes near the roof, would they crawl up to go in? Also, for hawks, if I have a place for them to run under and a bush to hide by do they need to have a roof? Thanks, Mary

my thoughts is screen in the windows because you never know when you might want to leave them open for ventilaion in the summer time, for that matter if it was me i would go the extra mile to predator proof my coop because after the chickens get some age on them and you loose them it can and will get expensive, i know that first hand i lost about 80 from jan thru march. but things are looking up i am building a new improved coop that might be predator proof to everthing but a bear and got 30 eggs incubating. just a little advice. and good luck
