OMG! Is it finally FRIDAY?!?!
Ya know, I went like gangbusters from sun up to well past 10:00 pm yesterday. I think I should go and hibernate until next week at the very least!
I can't remember the last time I did sooooo much cooking for so few people! Two pies, a 20 pound bird, 5 pounds of candied sweet potatoes, 5 pounds of mashed potatoes, two large acorn squash, corn, stuffing,....... and it just goes on from there!
I don't think there is one square inch of space left in the fridge! Anyone for leftovers?!?
Kathy, I'll try real hard to get some current pictures to you by Saturday, if at all possible. If not, I'll have to fall back on some of my older stuff. The work you've done thus far is looking absolutely FANTASTIC!! I love it!!
Knox, I love your li'l Del/Cochin cross boy! What a handsome little fella! All of your flock looks wonderful! Thanks for FINALLY posting some good pictures of all of them! You really need to post more. Quit hiding these little beauties from us!
Scott [har] don't you just love it when the young boys start figuring out what to do, and how to treat their girls well. One of the sweetest sights I've been privileged to witness is in watching my big guy Chief comfort and calm one of his girls, who is having a complete hissy fit, and convince her that the nest box he has chosen for her is the very best there is!
LadyHawk, I think you need to take a trip out to the far corner of your pasture and start looking for signs of an alien space craft having landed in the night. Bill has obviously been abducted and this is a simulacrum put in his place! Albeit a very nice simulacrum, but an impostor nonetheless!
Congrats on the new wheels! Looks like tons of fun!
OK, Chicken Chore time. Y'all know what that means!
