OH NO ! ! ! Not Colby! I am praying hard for the lad. This is just awful news. I pray for Colby and the whole family.

Hopefully, all will be taken care of.

It's not a bad one, Kathy, but not the fastest shutter speed. It's a Nikon Coolpix L22.

Got an email from Scott just now. Keep his younger son, Colby, in your prayers, SDWD'ers. He just found out he has a cyst on his brain, which is the cause of severe headaches he's been experiencing. Scott is waiting on a call from the pediatric neurosurgeon to tell them what the next step is.

A co-worker/friend had a tumor on her pituitary last year and spent the summer in and out of the hospital. She's fine now. Prayers for Colby

Both Landon and Colby are strong, healthy, active boys. I have to believe that he'll get through this with flying colors. They have awesome parents, I know that.

Alice, one of my blue Rocks, attacked Isaac today! She even injured his comb. The reason was she was rescuing my Buff Brahma, Caroline, from a mating attempt that was making her yell her head off. It got both my and Tom's attention from different parts of the property, all that screaming. We looked over in time to see Alice fly directly into Isaac's face to knock him off poor Caroline, who was definitely not in the mood, or she was being hurt in some way--once he did hurt her leg and she had to be removed from the coop for a few days to recover.

I had to doctor up Ike's comb at roost time because it had been bleeding. He was sweet as an angel, didn't even struggle when I picked him up. He can be hard on the girls sometimes because he isn't slowing down, even at 3 years old. These older hens aren't thrilled with that, seems to me. Well, by the end of Sunday, he'll have five more hens to love since I'm moving Rex's former ladies into the main flock.

Let us know what's going on when you have any news to tell, Scott.

Wynette hatched two of Maretta's babies so far and guess what? They're both blue! She called and said she had two blue pea combed chicks out, one pipped and the last one, she couldn't see a pip. That was hours ago. Hopefully, tomorrow there will be pictures.

Trying something here:

It works!!
