Cynthia, two things. First, so sorry to hear that Miranda is gone. Though it's probably a blessing. Her suffering is now done and she is free to move on to better horizons. But even that doesn't fill the void she has left behind. Remember the good times with her my friend. It helps.

Second: LOVE the baby quilt.

Maybe, if you ever get the time, you could PM the piecing pattern for that to me? Hint! Hint!

Once again, I apologize for not being around much. We've had three consecutive days of beautiful weather here, and one simply cannot sit on one's tush when such a rarity presents itself!

Hope everyone had a wonderful Easter. Now, if you'll all excuse me, this may be our last day of sunshine for awhile and it beckons to me!!!

Sorry, Amy, there is no pattern for it-I looked on the net for one and never could find one for a 12" block. I just cut strips of a certain width for the windmill paddles, long enough, plus a square that I cut on the diagonal for the setting triangles, large enough that it makes the size I want. I don't have anything drawn that I can post here.

This one is called Windmill or Whirlwind or Turnstile and sometimes Pinwheel, but there are others with those names that are not the same as this one. This one is really hard to find. My fav online quilt pattern resource is www.quilterscache.com, but it doesn't have this exact pattern, either.

Hey, this Dellie chick is 2 1/2 weeks old and look at those pink wattles. What do you think, Kathy? Cockerel? It was feathering like a pullet with clear white shoulder feathers, but darn it, I guess it's a boy. Ellie let me down this time. She usually throws pullets.

Ohhh boy, that's a tough one. Hmmm, I am thinking male though.

Cyn, you need to go HERE and leave a comment.

Hi everybody, I have been out for for a few weeks hope everybody is ok.
Cyn, sorry to hear about Miranda. I know you will miss her.

As I am preparing for a trip in a couple of weeks down to N Georgia to get babies from Speckledhen, I was making a mental list of things I needed as I was walking through tractor supply with DH (looking for weedeater parts) and it dawned on me that I needed a travel companion and co-pilot...well lo and behold, one followed me home.

Meet George! He shall co-pilot the Jeep
