Here is what is leaving next week:
3 Cochin hens (blue and splash, LF)
1 Cochin Rooster (blue, LF)
1 Cochin PAIR (mottled, bantam)
1 Cochin Rooster (mille fleur, bantam)
2 Brahma/Cochin pullets (blue, LF)
And since i got rid of my last 3 extra roosters this week, that leaves me with the LF blue cochin (son of above), my Blue Wheaten Ameracauna boy and my blue Brahma/Cochin boy. They can share the flock of girls. My mottled cochin rooster has his own little private flock of girls in his pen. I do have 2 other bantam roosters but they are inconsequential. One is a dwarf and causes no issues...the other is in a brooder and should be able to live in the yard peacefully with the "big boys".
My 26 chicks in the garage....of which 12 are girls and 14 are boys....the person who took my last 2 batches of roosters already said she would come pick up all 14 once they are ready, I just need to email her. In another 1-2 months, they will go adios.
i'm sure my neighbors are happy about the reduced crowing.
