It's turning into a great week! First i'm getting A Black Ameraucana Roo and two hens from Kathy, and then getting pretty clothes for my naked girls from Laura!!!

snuck a picture of my little friends while out working today. They run up to me so I can put them in the coop at night...little slackers.

Remember my broody mottled cochin with the chicks?

I also have 4 other adult mottled cochin hens.


and they all went broody together too.

I only have 5 mottled cochin hens. THEY'RE ALL BROODY NOW.

Mr Mottled, their rooster, just seems so bored. He has only the blue and splash mottled teenagers to harass.
