My thoughts and prayers are firmly for my SDWD family in the south east. I so hope you're all safe through the night and that morning will find you well and intact. Please, remember always, you are precious to me. Buildings can be rebuilt, chickens, dogs, cats and even horses, can be replaced. But you, my friends, are unique in all of my world! Please, stay safe.

Please Great Spirit, watch over this crazy, funny, strange, caring wonderful group of friends of mine. Keep them safe. Keep them from harm.

We had nop tornadoes or anything but that wind! I mean the roof - windows - siding - you name it was blowing and rattlin - creeped me out .... all is well tho! Hope everyone else is too! Poor Alabama doesnt look like they made it so well

We made it. No real damage to any buildings, just limbs down. Tuscaloosa, AL was leveled! Around 175 were killed in AL and GA. Hope all my southern friends here on SDWD and elsewhere are okay. The winds were the worst I've ever seen and that's saying something! Haven't checked inside the coops for leaks, but it's not all that wet here. The sky was lit constantly, but very little rain. Finally, it blew over around 3 a.m.

Yikes, that was craziness.

I came through just fine as did all my critters and it would appear all my buildings. Golf ball sized hail and over 12 hours of straight tornado warnings.

Power stayed on so the chicks are fine. Had it gone out I would have just stuffed babies under all my broodies lol.

We just missed that same cell that got Tuscoloosa and Birmingham, The mtns turned it slightly to the East. We stayed up most of the night. Just got rain and some wind. We are breathing a sigh of relief, I feel very blessed this morning. Love you all Gloria Jean

210 dead .... TWO HUNDRED TEN, and the number is growing! OMG, the storms were horrible. Alabama and Georgia got it the worst I think.

I pray all of our BYC friends are safe.

Checking in...everything is okay here....people, animals, buildings all good. As far as know Sarah is good too...her barn is flooding some but everything is okay.

Glad everyone is okay....hopefully all BYCers are safe.

Watching the news...the pictures coming in from Tuscaloosa and Birmingham

..... I'm feeling very blessed indeed to be living in the Inland Northwest right about now....forecasts of possible snow showers for today not withstanding. Inconsequential when compared to what has been happening in the Southeast this week. Praying that God keeps you all safe and out of harms way!

Well.....very close call here last night. Had one tornado on the ground less than a mile from the house.
