Chickens have all been cared for today as we need to go all the way into Spokane for another load of much needed building supplies. i.e. more drywall for the loft and great room ceilings, another pocket door for the guest bedroom, and other assorted odds and ends.
I finally remembered to take my egg basket out with me to the coop today. Forgot to do that yesterday, so eggs hadn't been picked up since Wednesday night. Those lovely little ladies! They really work their little tail feathers off for me. TWO dozen eggs, laying in various nest boxes, just waiting for me to come and collect them!
And hardly a grungy one in the bunch!
OK, time to scoot off to Spokane. Gotta get this done today so that we aren't delayed by the small snow storm coming in tonight and Saturday morning! 1-3 inches is all they're expecting, but I'll be delighted to get even that much! I LOVE SNOW!!!
