The current online weather for Mineral Bluff says it's only 3, not 5. Crapola, I'd move further south, but I hate the ocean storms and flat-as-a-pancake land.

Then only difference in your chart for me would be I never rejoice when flakes start falling. I know what's coming.

At the rate of the overall weather changes in the US, it looks like we have the best weather these days .... here in Missouri! LOL

It is cold at 28 this morning (going up to 40*), but I don't have the snow you are all suffering with, just a couple inches (if that) is all.

The truck temp said 12 degrees when I got in this morning. I forgot to check when I got to work...sometimes it takes a few minutes to update itself.

I have always hated the flats, too. Don't like mountains, either. Hilly, that is my preference .... hilly land is nice. At home, in Iowa, we lived atop a hill (huge hill, not flat) with a beautiful view. I miss it sometimes, but certainly not in the winter. We called the flat land, "the bottoms." Flooded there some times, too.

I am fortunate to have "slopes" here, too. I just don't like flat land. Our house here is on a hill, though not nearly as elevated as our Iowa home. Pretty, but I do not like the clay soil we have.
