Finally got some pics. He keeps standing in the sun so it was hard not to get glare on the pic. He is HUGE!!!

Sarah, he has his daddy's face! I'm glad you like him. I realize his faults, as I realize Suede's (per some standard I keep hearing about somewhere

), but a calm even tempered rooster is worth much so much to me.

The coop is mostly clad and the smaller window installed. Need to finish up on some odds and ends and install the huge front window.

pssss, Mrs Fluffy Puffy, I think the answer to your question is in the first 6 or 8 pages of the thread. When I first googled it I came up with Southern Division Western District, School District of Wisconsin Dells, San Diego Water Department, and Standard Deviation of Wind Direction. All interesting topics but no mostly white chickens with some black barring in sight.

He does have a good personality. He will do well protecting the "fun orp" pen. No standards will apply!

When the fun goes out of it, folks need to quit, don't you think? I'm happy he has a good home with you, Sarah.

I do, indeed. There are some people who take themselves and their birds waaay too seriously. I love my orps - flaws and all. I'd do anything for the fluffy butts! LOL!

Baize is such a good boy. I knew he would be and that is why I brought him back for you rather than rehome him to a stranger.

Sarah, wow! He's big and beautiful. Was he LH's?

And LH... I saw Amelia, my White Rock dustbathing today and snapped this pic. Is it just me or does her face look just like Thor's?

LH, found a pet carrier for $5 at a yard sale today, so I have two for transporting birds up your way in May. I'll be bringing Junebug and of course, Adonis, and maybe a few chicks from my hatch, depending on what hatches--hoping Smoky's six eggs will hatch and I'll bring all those up to you.

Oh, Sarah! Did you know I named my Speckled Sussex pullet after you? Sarah the Sussex is going to be a pretty hen, I'm sure.
