I have more orps a hatchin' - looks like 3 lavs in this bunch so far. Four more to go, then clean and shift eggs. PLUS i have 24 more of my splits sitting on the kitchen table waiting for room. I really must get another incubator!

Everyones got some nice chicks. I do like that lav orp. I've got five from hinkjc but to tire to take pics . Working through a cold..

Sold some chick yesterday and gave some of the rir from AL to trylin. Kept the silkies though.

Don't know why it' means more work to build them a separate coop but the family likes them I think and I'm afraid to sell them.

Patty came and got hers from hinkjc, thank the Lord. Now if this cold would let up , the yard would dry up and the sceptic guy would dig it up, I could work at setting up more coops.

Serioulsy in the north silkies are just to much work. Not to mention they supposedly go broody to much and Lord knows I give more chicks away than sell.

Sarah that is a good question...no idea really. I have 4 black one and 2 blue ones. Going to take new pics in a few.
