Just another hotter than heck day here in paradise. My hose is leaking too. I have bought 4 hoses this year. What's with that, huh? They aren't cheap!

I can't wait to see what it is! As long as it ain't drawers!

It is supposed to be hot here the next couple of days but then Monday only in the 60's.

Matthew3590 heres another pic of a buff barred I found a while ago over in the online show sec. I just so love these red and buff barred colored birds myself I'm gonna figure out how to make me some one of these days right now I got more projects going on and planned than I'll ever be able to finish(much less start) in 5 years probly. Oh well gotta have a dream huh?

Kathy, where are the leaks in your hoses? Near the end fitting? Or more in the middle of the line? If in the middle of the hose, check for chew marks from mice. I don't know what it is about garden hoses that mice like so much, but I always lose a couple of them every year to those little boogers!

Hence our keeping a number of repair kits on hand throughout the summer months.

There darn well better be pictures of these feathered arrivals tomorrow, woman, or there's gonna be H-E-double hockey sticks to pay! Are you listening to me? Hmmmppffff.....evil wench! It's not nice to tease your friends ya know!

How are those F2's coming along? Isn't it time for more pictures yet?

Laura, your NH hens are divine. The third one looks like a ship in full sail, I LOVE her. I hope mine develop as well. Black Jack is a beauty, and I agree with Cyn, Myrtle, wow! Your Del choices look good, too.

ChickenAlgebra, oh pregnant one, I know I know who you are, but this feeble brain of mine is blanking out -anyway, GOOD LUCK and blessings, I cannot imagine carrying twins in all this heat!

Thanks for the wonderful comments on my birds. I have Kathy to thank for the most part. All but the Black Austrolorp are from her lovely stock.

Rancher, the first four are the New Hampshires.

Beth, I forgot to tell you...ask Amy how to get a nice roo. She told me the secret to it a while back and I have been using that method with my NH cockeral. I am starting to use it with the others too.

Kathy, did you finally decide to get an Emu or two?
