It better not be a boa! Underwear? Well, maybe okay.

However, I do believe those feathers will be attached to a live specimen. I HOPE!

Just another hotter than heck day here in paradise. My hose is leaking too. I have bought 4 hoses this year. What's with that, huh? They aren't cheap!

My avatar is a Buff-barred, not a very clear pic. though, but you can get an idea of the color pattern from it. I wish I could find where I got it from on the BYC I'd try to clean it up some now that I know a little bit more about operating the computer and photoshop

Yes very interesting there on the darker (reddish) chick, there's a good possibility of getting some NH colored chicks too

Laura, you just post pictures of those beautiful babies of yours whenever and as often as you like! It's always a pleasure to see them!

Sweet dreams Cyn!

Kathy, where are the leaks in your hoses? Near the end fitting? Or more in the middle of the line? If in the middle of the hose, check for chew marks from mice. I don't know what it is about garden hoses that mice like so much, but I always lose a couple of them every year to those little boogers!

Hence our keeping a number of repair kits on hand throughout the summer months.

Laura - your chickens are looking GREAT! Myrtle is gorgeous!!!!! Those Icelandics are so neat!

Kathy i can only imagine what hubby is brinigng - perhaps you can give us a hint by telling us where he is picking up this feathered surprise?

Kathy, if those feathers are NOT attached to something living (and let us be praying he is NOT bringing you an ostrich to add to the collection) then we want pictures of you wearing whatever it is he brings home. hehehehe And I am with Amy- chick pix would be appreciated.

Laura, your NH hens are divine. The third one looks like a ship in full sail, I LOVE her. I hope mine develop as well. Black Jack is a beauty, and I agree with Cyn, Myrtle, wow! Your Del choices look good, too.

ChickenAlgebra, oh pregnant one, I know I know who you are, but this feeble brain of mine is blanking out -anyway, GOOD LUCK and blessings, I cannot imagine carrying twins in all this heat!

Catdaddy, I agree, those birds are cool looking.

Cetawin, is DeeDee still penitent? No more running off overnight?

Thanks for the wonderful comments on my birds. I have Kathy to thank for the most part. All but the Black Austrolorp are from her lovely stock.

Rancher, the first four are the New Hampshires.

Beth, I forgot to tell you...ask Amy how to get a nice roo. She told me the secret to it a while back and I have been using that method with my NH cockeral. I am starting to use it with the others too.

Kathy, did you finally decide to get an Emu or two?

Well if it isn't a boa or underwear might it be a showgirl (silkie type) or maybe a Las Vegas showgirl?

Couldn't help myself when I saw feathers, boas, and underwear, the image of a vegas showgirl popped in my brain.
