check it out, one big happy family. The black mottled hen in front is the one who isn't broody....but she is helping out nicely.

And for a bit of a freak show......a chicken whose breasts have LEGS. LOL. Poor Helen Keller....she is long suffering....

I always said you had the broodiest flock around. I didn't really consider the roosters though..... Yup, you really DO have the broodiest flock ever!

My boys are just HELPFUL okay?! LOL. Actually this splash mottled boy Cowboy would sit on the nest with the girls...he is a helper

I think he was just bored, but it was sweet to see him sit right next to the broody girls while they were on their eggs.

Helpful, uhhh, ya, okay! I bet that is due to the fact that he has some of that broody blood in him though.

Guess how many rabbits are due next week? SIX.

Only 3 are mine, the other 3 were bred by a friend and then she gave them to me. Well alrighty then. Bunnies will be EVERYWHERE soon......

I am SO glad that I'm beyond my child bearing years, and that I don't have any trips planned to visit Nella in the near future. If there's something in the water, it would be my luck that I'd "Kindle" as it were!

Yup! That definitely falls into the "freakish" category.

Well, as luck [my typical luck] would have it today, we did not finish the duplex coop.

I swear, we could be the last people on earth and somebody would show up to interrupt our work schedule for the day!

The only thing we accomplished was to move the big stack of firewood [about a half cord] out of what will be Milio & Company's yard and to get things nicely organized. We were just about to start putting up the fencing when couple #1 stopped in for a rather impromptu and unannounced visit.

Don't get me wrong. Both couples that visited us are dear friends and I always love spending time with them, but I really wanted to get the last bit of work done on the duplex so that I could have gotten everyone rearranged tonight! And later tonight we're supposed to get snow. Great! Just fricken peachy!

**Sigh** I need a hug!
