Denny has since purchased another muzzle loader rifle. Don't bother asking me what the heck it is. I'm not entirely awake yet. But he sounds pretty tickled with it. I care not one iota! So long as he is happy, then I am happy.

First up the Orp kids I went to GA and picked up....and also Addie and the Delawegger, Junebug aka Paralyzed chicken (I think she has finally gotten over that except for extreme drama moments)

The crew, Chewy was late coming for a treat of baked chicken and she missed out, she learned from this experience and she is never late now. She actually skids around corners to get there cutting off Ruby and DeDe all the time to be the first to the treat

The duck, Mounds before her baby hatched was totally upset that she could not have some chicken, even if she does not eat it, she still wanted into the plate.

FYI F-2s

I hatched some F-2 eggs from Kathy and the chicks are mostly feather out. I saved the white(5), buff(1) and black(4) chicks and gave away the barred looking chicks. The white ones are getting to look more like a Delaware every day. The buff pullet is a very pretty chick. The black ones are all pullets. They have gray or silver on there hackles just like a black sex link. I am thinking that there is a sex link thing going on with the black chicks and the barred looking chicks. I guess I really can't say for sure because I do not know how the barred looking chicks turned out nor can I find out. Just my way of thinking.

Black Jersey Giant? Black Orpington? I have both I would gladly donate to ya!
