Thats cool!! Like I said this chick is out of Blue Parents , its yellow and has white and black wing feathers so its NOT blue, lol. Slow to feather out. Are you good at sexing Polish?Braclin, I favor JG's and Polish, they were my first choices and still are. Of course it could have been Orps or BR's or the like. I have 1 Polish hospice patient living in my house. She's in a crate, but she gets out for exercise on the tile floor.
Kathy, sorry for all your broodies. I had my 4 at the time in a long community nest. They were happy.
Is Cetawin still around? I haven't seen her post in a bit.
Well I sold 2 Red Sussex and 2 Barred Holland pullets at the Swap today i'm happy and I didnt come home with any new chickens thats even better, cause i'm holding out for some of Kathy's Chocolates!!! I only hung out for couple hours it was getting hot so i came home. Its only a fifteen minute drive.
I'm in no hurry Kathy i'm just making changes here. Of all the chickens that I have hatched and raised in the last couple of years and there has been a ton of breeds including turkeys and Guineas my Orps have been my favorite and I want to get down to just my laying pen and my Orps. Jack has a son right now that is going to be awesome!! Im so excited!! I'm gonna try and get some pics this evening.Keep you fingers crossed! I just want to hatch a dozen for myself, then they are yours.
