I recently rehomed a pair of Seramas and opted to keep one roo for myself- under the assumption that he wasn't that loud, and I could keep him a secret.

I think that as soon as Spring comes and the neighbors next door open their windows, I will be in trouble. I have made a mistake. He has mastered his crowing now. He crows nonstop. I can barely hear him while inside and at the back of my house, (it isn't loud enough to be annoying even when I am outside)- but my windows are shut and my chickens are illegal.

He was hatched on July 29th, and is small, very handsome black roo. If someone allowed to have them would be interested in him, I would be willing to hold on to him for awhile- too cold outside for my neighbors to be hanging out in their backyard or have their windows open now.
