We had some chickens on the farm when we were kids.

24 chickens, 3 are roosters

(3) What breeds do you have?
Rhode Island Red, Golden Comet, Naked Neck, ISA Brown, Black Sex Link, Brahma, Buff Orpington, Barred Rock, Americauna

(4) What are your favorite aspects of raising backyard chickens?
Eggs and more eggs

(5) What are some of your other hobbies?
Art, in the past.

(6) Tell us about your family, your other pets, your occupation, or anything else you'd like to share.
We have plenty of cats, but are willing to part with a few dozen for a small fee. Please take them!

(7) Bonus: How did you find BYC, how long have you known about BYC, and what made you finally join our awesome community?
Web search. Seems like there is a lot of good info on this site.

Thanks! I've been given 5 roosters so far. 3 fled or were obliterated by predators. Seems like people don't want them around sometimes. But out in the country they fine company.
