search phrases for adoption of new chick with week olds and mama?

Hi, had a tough time wording subject line

I'm looking for search phrases for my problem. I feel sure someone else has done this but not coming up with good search parameters. I had a hen go broody. She hatched 5 of them then quit the rest. I'm pretty sure because of developmental stage differences in the remaining eggs. SO ... now I have a single chick from the leftover eggs that I put in the incubator. What are my chances for mama taking it with the older chicks? Hope this makes sense?? Can anyone reccomend thread topics? Thanks for any advice

I have no idea but I would go to the incubation area.

each hen is different, some will accept a new chick, some wont, if you put the chick with her, stay very close for a good while and if she is accepting towards the chick it may just work but if she pecks it than you need to keep the chick in a brooder
