Sorry if I was sensitive but I take responsibility for my birds. This is a good home with a new coop and a little girl that said gorgeous when she saw them. I always like rehoming with children. the other choices were to eat them or put them on the pond. This seems the best.

I still don't think it was a great move but<shrugs>
hopefully it works out in the long run.

Do you think I should have eaten them instead? At least they have a chance here, where they would not have with me. I have lots a predators and if I didn't eat them, something would when I put them on the pond. One hen and 4 drakes isn't supportable.

I'm good, just got surprised people were against rehoming them instead of killing them. I guess I should buy ducklings sexed instead of hatching them. But they are such a joy to hatch. Selfish on my part.

I mainly was hoping the member who lost her ducks to the pred had fixed the breach so the ones you gave her would be safe along with the ones that she had left.

She had gotten them a new pen. You know I have had predator problems I can't seem to get fixed. I love the little duckies so much I can't stop myself.
