Searching for Light Brahma Cockerel

Thank you so much @Chickenhappy8708. Worst case scenario is we might have to buy a newly hatched cockerel and include 1 or 2 pullets. Adding the pullets may have us making a bigger coop but we'll manage. He would be happiest being part of a flock so I feel that it would be in his best interest. I just would hate if afterwards a poor cockerel needed a new home and I wouldn't be there for him because I was impatient.

Thanks! I'm going to check it out now. I have looked for rooster rescues in the past and only found one near me but it had few roosters and none were light brahmas. I should have asked you guys to begin with.

I searched everywhere for a rescue with a Light Brahma cockerel/rooster. There are none within 200 miles from me and those within the 200 mile radius have very few roosters available anyway. ☹️ I would have loved getting him from a rescue.

I NO IDEA WHERE YOU LIVE< BUT LOOK WHO JUST POPED UP?!?!?!?

Thank you so much for everything you've done to help me but I just found somebody on Craigslist that was giving one away. I guess it helps searching Craigslist daily. He's beautiful and he's going to be mine. 😄 I'm so excited! But I also feel bad about the little guy you showed me. I hope he will find his forever home too.

This will be my new cockerel. Believe it or not he happens to be the same exact age as my pullets, between 4 - 5 months.

Now for the big task: the introduction. Guess I'll be searching the forum and watching videos to make sure I get it right. I hope it doesn't take too long for the girls and him to warm up to each other or he'll be sleeping in bed with us. We only have one coop.
