Seattle Area chicken classes

I was just giving a new seattle area member this info on byc (other) and realized some of the Washington folks might be interested. Seattle Tilth has Chicken 101 classes and way back about 10 years ago when I got back into chickening, my daughter and I took this.

this one is coming up - but I think they do them more than once a year. I'm North of Seattle now, but Seattle is a pretty chicken friendly place.

I heard about them, never went though because they are very catered to the seattle yard and I am not a city dweller. It is a wonderful idea though and one year there was an article in I think northwest life and it featured the really cute chicken houses made by people in seattle.
