Good day to all,

I am in need of some help. Unfortunately for us my wife has had a stroke and since she is a Dutch citizen, her insurance has moved her to the Netherlands. So I am left here to try and manage the flock of chickens and the geese.

I am able to manage the chickens, yes I do so much like my fresh eggs!!! But the geese are overwhelming me. I am unable to care for them properly and it is not fair to the geese or myself. Fortunately, I am able to have to be in touch with her and she has given me the OK, to have her geese go to another home, where they can have a good life.

I do not know all that much about the geese, other than my wife raised them from babies and she has names for all of them, but please don't ask me to tell you their names, I simply don't have a clue. I can tell you that she could sit on the back deck and feed and talk to them, by name, and they would listen to her and make noise back at her.

There are 10 geese all together, for whatever reason, she has 4 of them in one pen and 6 in the other. I think it has something to do with her trying to breed them, but here we go again, I don't have a clue why.

I am going to ask for $200.00 for the whole lot of them, simply because that is what she said, to ask for them. Yes, I know that 10 geese at one time is probably a lot to get at one time. I simply don't have the time to sell one pair here and one pair there. I travel for work and have my daughters helping me feed them, so even if I am at work it should be little or no problem to arrange for them to be picked up.

We are in the Concord/Kannapolis NC area.

Thanks for looking at my post and I hope you have a nice day.
