Wow, he turned out gorgeous once he got a bath. Did you have to "blue" them **lol**

He should make beautiful babies with your buff smoothie == sign me up!!

How's the bumblefoot on the other 2? That's really sad...

This one doesn't have the bad feet. He's the cleanest, and biggest. But his back is still all peach colored. I'll give them a bit mroe time, and if they're still grungy I will try the blueing. By thetime we get the feet taken care of they'll be used to being handled!

my new sebbies in the snow!!! they love running around in the snow it is funny

OK, this may have been covered here, and if it has, please just direct me to a post number or page number, that'd be fine...

What colors of Sebbies can be bred together, if any?? Main example...can whites and saddlebacks be bred together at all? Or does that just make a mess? Are there ANY that can be bred together, or if you have Sebbies, are you locked down to just one color?

Thanks in advance!!

We have a white gander with two blue splash geese, a white gander with a white goose and a blue splash goose and will be pairing up a grey gander with a lilac goose and a grey goose.

To know the background on the goose/gander will help you in figuring out how to partner them up and what color potential can come from breeding them together.

Thank you. I don't have any Sebbies yet. Just got the green light to get some, Saddlebacks are my favorite, but I'm open to suggestions. I'll be sharing this flock with one of my 4H families. I don't care about showing them, but they would like to show...

What will folks have available in the way of eggs, goslings, or juveniles soon??

You should join the Sebastopol specialty forum. Good place to learn about the breed and color breeding formulas.
We also have a classified ad forum where you can post a wanted ad.
Best wishes with getting some Sebbies!
You will love them!

I'm combining several colors and some curlies and some smoothes. I am expecting to get mostly splash offspring this year because it appears that buff and lavender are recessive.

My flock is still in the early stages, so I'll consider myself lucky if I get fertile eggs this year. If I do, I will definitely share a few

Depends on what your idea of soon is. Most are waiting for laying to begin as we are just gearing up into breeding season right now.

Well, "soon" being any time this spring I suppose...just need to find out what's out there and available and what my options are...
