Are Sebastopols geese hard to keep and what do you have to do to get them to breed and etc.....

Thanks

No, they're not hard to keep. About as easy as other breeds, just don't expose their feathers to too much rain/snow/harsh weather.

You basically need a pool for them, keeps em clean and happy, and a good place with food for them. They're not aggressive towards people, too, which is always a plus.

I don't know about breeding though, as none of mine have tried such yet.

They're quiet until they answer your next question.

My Sebbies will honk and honk and make gaggling noises at anything new that enters the scene. Dogs, people, cars, etc. But if it is an animal or object that they seen day to day, they're fine.

Also, they don't just make noise. . . They'll chase the intruder, and if possible, kill it. They once killed a wild rabbit that ran through our pasture.

Hi Muscovy, I JUST posted that Im selling some of my seb flock.. and you are not so far away that we couldnt meet part way.

They are great watch dogs... I have a gander that we saw chase away a fox!!
as for loud... they can get vocal when they get excited... but no more than a dog barking.
