If you have a girl who is darn near perfect with her lacing and color and you have a boy with poor lacing, is it possible for them to produce babies with good lacing?
I just picked up a pair of Silver Sebrights. I am not crazy about the boy but the little girl is beautiful! I was wondering what my chances were of possibly getting good quality babies out of her?

It is possible to improve them from this combo, but it would be better to get another male with good lacing.Otherwise you will waste years culling out poor laced birds, but some people like doing things the hard way.Why keep re-inventing the wheel, even with good laced stock you get some culls.A small flock of nicely laced birds will be much more enjoyable to take care of each day.
