Sebright gender

so I got a Sebright last month the people I got it from didn’t tell me how old it was and I forgot to ask but it was fully feathered and everything but I have no idea it’s gender i don’t know how to tell with there comb

Agreed, that is most certainly a cockerel. I don't think it is 4-5 months old. I would guess maybe 2-3 months old. It's comb is smaller than the one I have, who is not 4-5 months old. The feathers also suggest it's younger too. His feathers will become more uniform as he gets older, and he'll become the gorgeous Sebright he is. Any formation and reddening of the comb will indicate cockerel in Sebrights, the females have virtually no comb at all.

I've attached a picture of my female, who is the same age as my male, but her feathers are not as developed yet. They are about 14 weeks old.
