Hi, i have a golden laced sebright who lays big eggs for her being a bantam. they are the size of a standard hens egg, i was wondering if its just her, or the breed.
Do all sebrights lay big eggs?

thats her :)

From what I read, they aren't that good of layers. Seems like you have a special chicken there ;) . I don't have any, I just researched it. So I'm sorry if I'm wrong...

You're not wrong. These chickens are not made to lay normal sized eggs, thats why they're so small. You really do have a special girl!

My sebright's egg's are quite large too, larger then my other bantams though not as large as a standard egg. She's also a very regular layer and even goes broody occasionally.

thanks everyone! she lays alot, at east 5 times a week.
cafarmgirl- i wish Mocha went broody, she looks like she would be a good momma, but she's three or four years old and hasnt done that yet..
