My slice of heaven in Somerset, CA
I had some friends over this afternoon and one of my two Silver Sebright roos - George - decided to challenge Farmer Lew.

We didn't quite get the moments when George actually connected with the Big Person's lower leg.

(Gotta futz with the second photo to see why it isn't displaying...)

No, he didn't hurt Farmer Lew. He did annoy HHandbasket.

The pullets are sweethearts. The roosters are just feisty, with Napoleonic attitudes.

Last week, George flogged my house guest's ankle and made a mark on her lower calf through light-weight pants. My dominant rooster, a LF EE, came over and kicked George's butt. Another time, the other Silver Sebright roo, Alex, came to her rescue and chased George away.

I don't put up with that crap, and I'll walk George backwards for 20, 30 feet until he "gets it" that I am The Boss of Him.

Can everybody see the second photo? I just see the code for it, and there's nothing wrong with how it is posted, it just doesn't show for me.... How odd.

I can only see the first pic Linda.
Those little sebright roos are something else. What, I'm not sure exactly.

Way back when I had Sebrights, the roosters were among the most aggressive that I have ever had. Just imagine if they were the size of a RIR.
