I’m thinking about getting some sebright hens to show, but I’m worried about mixing them in. I’ll probably only have a couple of bantam Cochins and a silkie. Do sebrights do well with other breeds even though they’re smaller?

Sebrights do well when raised in conjunction with other birds. Introducing them to an established flock can become another situation. They are quick and generally spunky so given enough space they might be okay especially if the present flock is not overly aggressive. I would monitor introduction carefully.

Ok, we are mixing up and adding a bunch of birds so hopefully a new pecking order will be established safely.

I was thinking of getting some too. my current flock involves both large and bantams and they get along fine. I was going to get hatching eggs online though so my hens can hatch.
