Sebrights???

I am really enjoying the Silver Sebright rooster I ended up with in October! He's got moxie & attitude & I'm glad he's what got me interested in chickens. When I only had him, he would nest down in the hood of my hoodie before being but up in the coop for the night. Now that he has some Golden Laced Polish hens, he's very determined to take care of them. It's funny to watch him, these tiny thing, strutting in front of my dogs like he could really hurt them. I think he's a crack up! :)

I love my Sebright pullet. And right now she is alone in a flock of standard chickens. I would like to get a few more pullets to be her friends... So if anyone knows someone near Central NC who is NPIP certified please let me know! Happy Christmas!

Good Morning all! hope everyone has a wonderful wednesday!

My sebright is my only bantam, and is getting picked on by my standard size girlies. I am hoping to get her a couple of bantam buddies... and am looking for sebrights... however, i am having trouble finding sebrights close to her age.

Do you think that she would bond with any bantam breed? or is it really 'birds of a feather'?

I would like to know your thoughts/experiences!

thanks so much!

I, personally, have no idea. If you did get another bantam, they would probably start picking on it more than the Sebright and maybe give the sebright some piece. I don't have ANY experience in this though, this is just my guess of what would happen. I hope it helps!!!
