**~~>>Second Annual Cinco de Mayo Turkey Hatchathon<<~~**all poultry welcome!

Bwha!! Not enough space to quote everyone but you all quack me up! Like seriously my hubby kept looking at me like I was crazy everytime I laughed! :x

But the fact is I am crazy, I've only been into chickens since september and now have exactly 75 head plus more in the 'bator, some in transit, and more planned!! How in the world am I going to fit all these chickens comfortably on 2 acres?!

You're a chicken math PhD in such a short period of time. You're going to need more land.

OK... pictures.

Does it count if I send weird taxidermy to friends for random presents when I find something good and inexpensive on ebay?

Like this, only much, much cheaper. http://www.ebay.com/itm/Vintage-Whi...282?pt=LH_DefaultDomain_0&hash=item1c31513a92

I can't believe no one's bid on that.

I love the mice!!!

I need to take more pics... i have around 100 or so now.. several deer, a couple horses, a donkey.. cats, dogs, coyotes, raccoons, birds, a jackal... squirrels... .. and so on

even complete skeletons of a coyote, mastiff, fox, muskrat (in boxes.. I need to get around to articulating them)... and a bunch still in the freezer that need to be cleaned ( a couple entire opossums, whole duck, baby boar heads.. other birds... just the usual stuff)

I had to get bigger shelves.. and they all still won't fit

some in the maceration pan

As a Charter Member of the Ancient Order of CDM hatchers ;) I am considering another injection of Trader Joe's brand of tutors into my flock. My Josie is two years old now and laying like a trooper. Whoa... I have known a whole lot of Troopers in my long, pre-retirement career and very few of them were good layers. All, however, had the "tutoring gene." Sorry, random strange thought again. Must need more coffee.
Linda  I thought we were keeping it family friendly :lau
Omg omg omg, I didn't do that, did I? I did. I mean I didn't DO it, I just did what I would never have intended to do. I meant to say, within the total numbers of officers encountered within the realm of professional law enforcement radio communications - radio goes pretty far and reaches many, many people - not a single one of those multitudes of state-wide officers could be considered as chicken egg layers. Not one. Not even the female officers. Nope. Nobody. "Chicken egg" was assumed. ....somebody please punch me in the chest to get my heart pumping again, wouldja? Edited because I still didn't get it right after two attempts. Not saying it's the most right now.....</>
