Oh my goodness, a SECOND tutor has hatched! I don't mind them being a few days older than poults, because I think that works well, but I didn't plan it that way at all.

Both surprised me; never saw a pip or anything, just found the hatchling(s) looking out of the 'bator at me.

Because the turner is still working, each chick just fell out when I lifted the lid, because the Brinsea was at its lowest swing in the cycle. Little fuzz butts been going for a nice gentle ride, back and forth....

As soon as I catch it at the most upright spot, I'll unplug the turner. Lockdown is SUPPOSED to be tomorrow!

Love it when they zip quickly!!

I have 10 Barred Rock Tutor eggs in lockdown (tho 2 look like they may be early quitters) due to start hatching tomorrow.

And 16 MW turkey eggs are going into lockdown this Saturday. So excited hatch weekend is here!

I also have 9 Buckeye eggs from my late surprise package that aren't due to hatch until next weekend, but since one of my Buff Orps FINALLY decided to go broody I'm considering transferring them to her.

Thank you Chooks!! Looks like a gray turkey, yellow turkey chick (wait what are they called) LMAO and a partridge looking turkey chick in the bottom right corner is that one!
WHO knows what breed Chooks has???? She HENN nabbed me with these! Adding DH has surgery scheduled for tomorrow so I added them sooner praying they hatch before hand! LUCK pure LUCK!! Now if the buttons would get here I would be set!!!
