This morning, picked-up Bourbon Red (6) and Standard Bronze (6) eggs from the "pretty half" at Frazen Farms......and my Royal Palm X Golden Narragansett eggs (6) came from krazykat!!

The eggs are sooo pretty....cream with speckles of different sizes and colors.....hmm.....maybe a jacket with turkey egg coloring?

Hopefully, flocksalot's Midget White eggs will be here tomorrow.

Durr they should be OK.  When are they due to hatch?  If the power stays out a whole lot longer, you may want to consider putting a towel or blanket around the bator to help hold in the heat.  Just try not to cover up any vent holes. 

The power came back on thank god, and they are due the 26th.

Question about candling B.Red eggs, what's the best day to candle? All I see right now is a dark yolk spot, no veining. And its day 7 is this egg clear?

I usually wait until day 14 to toss clears on all 28 day eggs.

You should candle them every hour, on the hour.

The egg may still be "clear" I wouldn't toss right now. Let it go another week unless you're sure.
