**~~>>Second Annual Cinco de Mayo Turkey Hatchathon<<~~**all poultry welcome!

I set 6 turkey eggs (procured from the"NotSoOld"birdguy) and they all had a big N on them, so y'all figure out what I set. I cannot yet spell the breed name without looking it up.

In a week, I shall either set some of my own flock eggs or something else. Depends entirely on what I can arrange. Looking for LF Cochin, first.

Linda I got some of those from Shawn too. They are Narrragansetts. Very pretty birds.
Took me a while to catch up with you all. Just set 25 turkey eggs. I was waiting for the last one to put in from Edith today and trying to stabilize the temp on my bator. I am so thankful I got that reptile digital thermometer last year. It works great. DH keeps asking me what we are going to do with 25 turkeys. I told him don't worry, I'm not that good at hatching.

He was wounded in early March.. so they finally sent him home... now I have to catch up on spoiling him rotten

I do want to thank y'all for keeping me company and helping to keep me busy .. and i know I didn't tell most of you about it.. but it's one of those things where we just aren't allowed to say much...
so thanks again!

So I just candled all my incubator eggs.

15 BR eggs on day 14 candled and 9 were clear and removed. So 6 eggs still developing well. Also 3 Marans eggs in with that batch on day 7 very dark so hard to tell but iI think I saw veins.

14 BR eggs on day 7 candled and 8 were clear and 6 are developing. I left all those eggs in the bator until next candling day 14. I will set chicken eggs tomorrow with that batch 9 or 10 Marans and 4 Olive Eggers. I may remove the clears tonight, though I know day 7 is early. But i need to make room for tonights turkeys eggs and tomorrows chicken eggs.

And tonight I am setting 11 BR eggs. Though feeling is and along with pattern half or more will most likely be clear. One hen isnt squating yet.

I really need to pair them off I have 2 Toms and 2 Hens

I am so happy for you that he is coming home, but sad he was injured for sure! I will assume he is a serviceman, can you please thank him from our family?

Ok, I set 6 duck eggs today. 3 goose eggs Friday. I have chukar eggs hopefully coming just in time to set, and whatever chicken eggs I decide to throw in there.

I had a couple cute little african goslings hatch over the weekend. I love goslings, they are the sweetest things!
Here's my gander trying to steal them away from me, he thinks they are the sweetest little things too, lol.
Julie was he going to hurt them or just curious? they are very pretty
