Filled this out once already here we go again. Last year I declared war on the bugs in my garden. This spring I built a 'Guinea Hotel' out of a 5th wheel camper frame. Took one axle out and moved the other toward the front to add more weight to the back. Then added a tongue and hitch to the back. It now looks a little like a pirate ship and the 'poop deck' is literally the poop deck, they roost mostly in it. I used expanded metal for the floor, 2X materials for the framing and pro-panel for the sheeting. It has lots of windows! I'll try and post some pictures...again. In May I came up with 9 guineas, 5 ducks and 6 chickens. on 08-25-2020 I was gifted 12 Bantam birds so now I'm up to 35, well the count is 35 in reality the Bantams' are about 1/2 a bird! Anyway I've added a 10" attic fan, 20" box and 1 window fan. The kids spend most of their time under the coop when it is hot. I'll be adding insulation and something to cover it so they won't eat it for winter. So far they all have come home and while I know the Guineas are prone to wander I'm hoping I can entice them to stay. Ok now to post pictures...I'll add more of where the GH ended up later!!
