I am at a loss. I thought that my first girl had been attacked by the neighbors dog or maybe my overzealous male goose. I separated her fed her, watered and gave her everything I could, but she eventually just completely faded away she stopped eating and drinking. It took over a three weeks period. Today when I opened the coop I found Aflac our much beloved peking laying on the floor of the coop with her legs behind her. I brought her into the grass and immediately the geese tried to attack her. I put her in the water and she can swim like the other could with small movements but cannot walk or stand. There are no vet's in this area that take fowl I have called all morning and I don't know what to do. The last duck suffered so. The chickens and geese seem to be doing fine and I was going to buy more ducklings but refuse to do so until I can figure out what is going on. My ducks and geese and chickens do go into the same coop which is very large at night. This did not happen until I lost my drake from a fax. Could this be a result of my male goose trying to mate the duck?
Thanks for the help!
